Black Sabbath - Electric Funeral - This is the first time I ever attempted this cover and I hadn't heard the song in a few weeks, so it was just practice, but good fun borrowing a note from another key and I caught on pretty quickly

Bush - Send in the Clowns - After I gave Stranglehold my best college try I practiced Send in the Clowns, but it had been a while. I remember hearing it for the first time and staying up all night on a defunct bus stop bench in a mostly dark part of Lihue, Kauai with my acoustic guitar, so I could listen to the album and jam until sunrise.

Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water - Without practicing I just dropped D and did my best, so I found the main riff pretty quickly and noodled in the key for fun during some other parts. Enjoy and remember to tune, tune and retune.

I am breaking in a new mic and singing these songs for the first time. It was a good, fun warm-up. As somebody that can sing, but usually just sings like karaoke style with other songs, singing hard and loud is an adjustment. I hit lots of good notes though and it was a fruitful exercise.
