Mr. Gastrich Comments on Huffington's Exit

Today, Independent candidate, Arianna Huffington dropped out of the gubernatorial race.  She claimed that she didn't want Arnold winning the election, so she quit to avoid splitting the Democratic vote.  However, some have said that her constituents will likely vote for Peter Camejo, the Green Party candidate, instead of Cruz Bustamate (D).

"So long, Arianna.  I guess I won't receive any more of your auto-responses via email," said Mr. Gastrich with some tongue-in-cheek.  "No really, she was a voice for the far left and she gave it her best.  I wish her and her family well."

Jason Gastrich has written goodbye songs for Bill Simon and Peter Ueberroth when they quit the gubernatorial race.  When asked whether or not he would write and record a new song about Arianna leaving, he said, "I probably will.  Since she was so liberal, I'll have to be careful, so I keep it nice and professional."

Mr. Gastrich could receive some of Arianna's votes.  On this subject, he commented, "If her constituents take a look at my platform and vision for the state, I'm sure they'll migrate to my side.  I won't raise taxes, I've promised to be tougher on lawlessness, and I'm not controlled by any special interests.  Sounds a lot like her message.  Yes?"
