Jason Gastrich Commends President George W. Bush
September 26, 2003
As campaigning for the recall election begins to intensify, Mr. Gastrich took a few minutes to comment on the President and the people campaigning for the Democratic nomination to seek his job.
"President Bush has done an awesome job for America and the rest of the world. We now have something called 'The Bush Doctrine.' Terrorists in all countries of the world have been shaken by our President's resolve to do exactly what he says and confront evil where it lies," said Mr. Gastrich with a pleased look.
On the issue of the economy, Jason was optimistic. "The economy is picking up and looking better all of the time. After 9/11, there was a period of concern, stagnation, and rebuilding. Right now, partly because of the tax refunds by the President, that put extra money in our pockets, the economy is improving."
In the past weeks, the Democratic, Presidential hopefuls have been engaging in debates. A common theme is bashing President Bush and calling him names.
"A candidate has never won the office of President by using playground tactics to belittle their opponent," exclaimed Mr. Gastrich. "The hopefuls are going to have to do better than that because people see through that kind of behavior and call it what it is: childish."
On the issue of President Bush's approval rating, that has dropped in the last months, Mr. Gastrich said, "It's much more glorious to win a war than reconstruct a country after the war. People want things done, immediately, but rebuilding a country like Iraq will take some time. There will be ups and downs. We are making progress, though."
Jason Gastrich supports President George W. Bush and looks forward to his second term as President. He believes the liberal media and liberal agenda are finally being exposed.
"People are realizing that they don't have to watch a liberal news station like CNN. They have alternatives and stations like FOX News are much more even handed and unbiased. People are getting tired of the liberal spin and they want the truth, so I'm convinced that voters are beginning to see things how they really are in America. They're embracing sound politics that will help our great country thrive, again," replied Mr. Gastrich with a smile.
Kind regards,
Gastrich for Governor, '03
