Mr. Gastrich Resumes Debate with Atheist

As a Christian Minister, Jason Gastrich has many responsibilities.  He shares the gospel, counsels people, and even debates atheists.

In May, Mr. Gastrich began a debate with an atheist named Farrell Till.  Farrell is an ex-minister who has turned into an active atheist; debating Christians and spreading atheism as far as possible.  Yesterday, after a 17 day break for vacation and campaigning, Jason posted his Round 6 message and continued his debate with Farrell.

"I'm enjoying this debate quite a bit!  The resolution that Mr. Till penned is easily resolved.  The land promise was conditioned on the Israelites' participation and as they fought the pagans, they received land and were blessed.  However, as they disobeyed God, they were punished and didn't remain the sole occupiers of the promised land."

"In the scriptures, we see a conditional promise.  Since the Israelites partially obeyed God, they received a partial fulfillment of blessings and a partial fulfillment of judgment.  Nonetheless, this land promise, in the Old Testament, was fulfilled in all of its details."

In Exodus 20:20-33, we find one of several records of God's land promise to the Israelites.

This debate began at the Inerrancy.com Discussion Board.  After Mr. Till had some trouble posting, it was moved to the Internet Infidels Discussion Board.  The IIDB has over 500,000 messages and thousands of members.  The current debate can be seen here: http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58419.  Between the two forums, it has already been viewed nearly 2500 times.
