Debates Confirmed for Cal Berkeley and Cal Poly

The Party Y organization, a group that focuses on candidates and voters that are under 30 years old, is hosting two debates; one at the University of California at Berkeley and one at Cal Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.  All of the gubernatorial candidates that are under 30 years old are invited to participate and Mr. Gastrich has agreed to make both events.

"After we put a stop to illegal immigration, the young people will be the future of California.  If the state government is successful in getting California on track, then these students and entrepreneurs will stay here and thrive.  If we elect someone that can't help the state, then they'll probably leave and flourish in another part of the country," Mr. Gastrich said with a concerned look.

Jason wants a better voter turnout for this election than any other election.  He believes that the under 30 crowd is the key to the state's success.

"Voting is such an important action.  It's their civic responsibility."  Jason continued and said, "I know these students care about their future, so they need to investigate all of the serious candidates, register to vote, and let their voice be heard."

On the subject of debating the other candidates, Mr. Gastrich seemed very optimistic.  "Am I worried?  No, of course not.  I've been debating for quite awhile and I know where I stand on the issues, so this should be a lot of fun!"

The other candidates that are under 30 include Brooke Adams, Mary Carey, Brian Quinn, Georgy Russell, and Daniel Watts.  All are expected to come to both events.
