The South Bay Heart Watch Asks Mr. Gastrich to Address Medical Researchers in Torrance

On August 28, Mr. Gastrich will be joining the South Bay Heart Watch organization and speaking to their medical researchers.  SBHW has been doing excellent research in the detection and prevention of heart disease.  For the past 13 years, they have conducted their top quality research at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Research and Education Institute.

"I am delighted that (Mr. Gastrich) will come and speak at this event," said Bob Detrano, MD, Ph.D.   Dr. Detrano is a Professor of Medicine and the Director of South Bay Heart Watch.

The Research and Education Institute (REI) at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is the largest independent, not-for-profit biomedical research institute in Los Angeles county and has an international reputation for scientific discovery, the training of physician-scientists and the provision of community service programs.

The mayor of Torrance will also be speaking at this event.
