music.
I've loved music since I was a kid. I can play the guitar, bass, drums, piano, flute, saxophone, trumpet and a variety of percussion instruments. It's so much fun! It's also a great way to connect your mind (e.g. both parts of your brain) and your body. For instance, many people who play instruments are essentially ambidextrous.
It takes a lot to impress me, musically. If there is just a drum and a voice, I usually get bored. I enjoy listening to music with guitar, bass, drums and vocals. I also enjoy instrumental music, especially when I want to clear my mind.
Music is a great medium for art and communication. Have you ever written a song or
poem? Have you ever tried? Why not try today? Many people find writing music and poetry to be a fantastic outlet and a productive way to help articulate their thoughts and feelings.

volume.

When you attend concerts and play very loud music, you
need to protect your hearing. When your ears buzz for hours,
that means you've damaged your hearing. The ear plugs above
are epic because they filter the distorted highs and lows
and they let just enough of the right sounds in. By filting the extremely loud sounds, these earplugs make the show sound great in normal volume).
Check out Etymotic's web site for details. They're around $10 for a pair and totally worth it. Hearing damage is cumulative and can be permanent.
